The Imo State PDP Gubernatorial Candidate and Former Deputy Speaker House of Reps, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nkem Ihedioha, earlier today joined the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Owerri Branch, to participate in their “Walk for Life” advocacy trek which took place in Owerri, in celebration of the 2018 Physicians Week ongoing.
The walk which kicked off at Dan Ayiam Stadium, Wetheral Road Owerri, ended at the Port Harcourt Road Secretariat of the NMA, Owerri Branch.
His Excellency who spoke at the end of the early morning physical exercise, thanked the body for once again encouraging him to engage in a much better physical training despite his tight schedules. He promised to always make himself available in support to their good ideas aimed at having a much healthier society.
Speaking further, He acknowledged the need for a better governed Imo where every system and sector will work, stressing that Imo under his watch will be totally different from what we have today. He also appreciated the police Band Team and the Road Safety team for their excellent display of professionalism in their conduct throughout the walk.
