Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta LGA Storms Govt. House with Brand New Hummer Bus








The good people of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta LGAs today, October 2nd stormed Government House Owerri to present a brand new (Hiase) Hummer bus to Gov. Okorocha ” the founder of Rochas Foundation College of Africa” in support of his drive in touching the lives of the indigent children across the African continent.

The people comprising of traditional rulers, Niger Delta Security network, Niger Delta Women Council of Nigeria, various youth groups in Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta, including political appointees-past and present.

Speaking on behalf of the good people of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta, Hon. Kingsley Uju Chima, described Governor Okorocha as a phenomenon and colossus whose emergence in state has redefined governance and has brought unprecedented transformation in Imo state. He also commended the Governor for the love he has shown to the people of the oil region. He noted the governor’s actions has given them a sense of belonging and commended him for restoring peace in the area, including appointment of their sons to sensitive positions in government and numerous projects sited in the area, provision of employment opportunities to the youths of the area just to mention but a few.

Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima disclosed that the idea of presenting a bus to the Foundation was the brain child of the youths in recognition of his laudable achievement in Imo and Nigeria. He assured the governor of the region’s loyalty and support to the Rescue mission Government.

The youths represented by Comrade Emeka Igwe presented the Toyota (Hiace) bus to the Rochas Foundation College of Africa while the Niger Delta women Council of Nigeria led by Hon. Mrs. Sandra Ijoma presented a cow to the Governor.

In his remarks, Gov. Okorocha expressed enormous joy with the gift and stated, this is highest gift he has received from all the groups that has visited and described the people as being appreciative and promised them more
